SACS PROGRAM BASIC TUTORIAL

SACS (Structural Analysis and Calculating Software) is a program to analyze and calculating offshore structure (fixed platform). This program can perform inplace, seismic, fatigue, push over, TOW, jacket launch, flotation etc. Different from the other structural program, SACS can input many environment condition especially ocean force (current, wave, wind).

The example below is a simple tutorial to learn SACS. Cantilever with properties W24x104, the structure model can be seen below. Perform a UC member detail and moment diagram using SACS program.
